I've just got rid of عفوا ,,, لايمكنك مشاهده الروابط لانك غير مسجل لدينا [ للتسجيل اضغط هنا ] (costing too much $$ each month, kid on the way, so making some cutbacks!).
My current setup consists of a Sky-HD box in the lounge, a عفوا ,,, لايمكنك مشاهده الروابط لانك غير مسجل لدينا [ للتسجيل اضغط هنا ] SD box in the bedroom and a £47 bill each month for the pleasure. I'm not interested in recieving premium channels, i.e. sports or movies. In both rooms I have an XBMC ****d media centre. I am aware that XBMC can act as a front end for the dreambox. I'm looking at picking up a Dreambox 500s (or similar) to use as a satellite "server". Basically, I want to connect the dreambox to my network so I can stream TV to the XBMCs but also be able to record stuff to my NAS. The dreambox won't be permanently connected to a TV; probably end up hidden in a cupboard somewhere.
Through research, I know I can do the above with minimum of fuss, my question is: Even though the dreambox 500s is an SD reciever, because I will only be using it to stream the TV signal, will I be able to send an HD stream to my XBMCs? Or will I need to use an 800s?
